The Arrival

What a long couple of days! We left for the airport at about 6pm on Thursday the 27th. We arrived pretty much exactly 48 hours later. We didn't have any issues during all the travel and we arrived with all of our luggage. Great success!

The time spent in the airport and aeroplanes for that long of a stretch was pretty grueling, I'm totally pooped. Sean and I took shifts sleeping in Vancouver airport for our long 12.5 hour layover and then we were lucky if we could get a couple of hours straight sleep in the aeroplanes. Of course Sean decides to take a picture of me trying to sleep in Vancouver!

With oodles of patience that I normally have in short supply, I finally see a new dawn and we are just about there!

Our new location is awesome, to put it mildly. It is currently sunny and 33 degrees with a nice breeze. It feels like the summer we had this past year. 
I also met my dear niece Juno for the first time! Super cuttteeeeee.

My shortly-to-come nap will have the background music of cicadas and exotic sounding birds.  It's totally awesome.
